3 Prayer Prompts to Try With Your Husband

Just the other day, I remembered a praying routine I started up with Jonah a couple of years ago. We were in the groove with our routine for almost every week for about a month or two, and then for some odd reason, we stopped.
I noticed that, overtime, we've started to become lazy with our prayers and what/who we're praying for. While this realization has been convicting me greatly (thank you, Jesus), I want to get back on the prayer-prompting train, and for these reasons:
Hebrews 10:24-25 encourages us to "consider how we can stir up one another to love and good works", which also reminds me of Proverbs 27:17. Prayer is not a difficult discipline. It's one way that we can apply these passages stated, as praying for one another uplifts the soul and can help direct us to honour Christ better with our lives. However, as we let ourselves become distracted by earthly things, our desire to spend time with our Lord decreases, and our prayers start to become less intentional. This is something that Jonah and I have come to face in our marriage.
By having prompts ready, you're left with a goal in mind. With this comes intentionality and less temptation to have your mind wander as you pray. Here are 3 prompts that you can try with your spouse, accountability partner, and friend:

Personal: How can I be praying for you in your season?
This prompt includes anything you have going on in your specific season in life. Are you seeking job opportunities? Do you need more sleep because your newborn baby keeps you up at night? Do you have an exam you need to study for? These, along with many other situations, are good answers to the "personal prayer prompt".
Sometimes, I feel awkward praying for myself, and to have this as the first prompt (not that you need to), it may seem a little selfish. However, I remember listening to a podcast and learning about one's prayer life. I recall the episode explaining prayer as an "orbital-type" thing: you start at the core (yourself), and work your way out (to your family, friends, etc.). These 3 prayer prompts put that type of prayer into action.
Spiritual: How can I be praying for your walk with the Lord?
This is kind of a given, but I encourage you to answer to this prompt by having a personal, spiritual goal in mind.
When praying for others spiritually, I often ask the Lord to help them where they fall short in glorifying Him, which is an awesome thing to pray for, but then I would disregard what the Lord may have planned for that person's future. I always ask what the Lord has been teaching others, but I never inquire about their goals and how they aim to better serve the Lord - that's what this prompt is asking.
Whatever your answer may be, I would hope that you are taking the right steps with the Lord's help to pursue your goal. And if you're not, I hope that this prompt would encourage you to.
Worldly: Who/what is on your heart?
This prompt causes you to consider the "outer rings": friends/family, worldly matters, or anything that has been laying on your heart. This prompt can be very humbling, as sometimes, the other person's request may not be on your heart at all (ie. politics).
Pretty simple, right? Comment below if this is something you're willing to try, and if not, share what your prayer life looks like.
Let's encourage and learn from one another as we strive to strengthen our relationship with our Lord & Saviour!
