The world distorts sex. @gloriousexpression
This world worships sex. We are told to have sex with someone when we love them. We are told to have sex with someone if we are attracted to them. We are told to move in with a partner before getting married. We are told to have sex with people at parties when we are bored. Sex is so casual!
But please know, this was not God’s design. And we need to trust this because he created sex!! He knows why He made it, and He has a specific purpose for sex! God designed it to be WITHIN marriage -between ONE MAN and ONE WOMAN.

I want to explain the intimacy of sex. When you have sex with someone you create a covenant with them. You both become one. You create a bond with them that connects you spiritually, emotionally and physically. And God designed it to be in a marriage with only two people because He knows how intimate and special it is. Imagine a couple getting married and then having sex for the first time with one another. They now have this beautiful bond with someone that no one else has with them on this entire earth! The husband has a bond with his wife that no other man has with her. And the wife has a bond with her husband that no other woman has with him. It truly is a beautiful thing and it’s the best wedding gift anyone could receive!
So now we can understand why God wants us to wait. It’s not some stupid rule to keep up from having fun. It’s the opposite. He has this boundary to PROTECT us from making these special covenants or bonds with more than one person. When you have sex with someone, you are connected to them forever, and they will always have a piece of you. So this is why God tells us to wait! He wants us to experience sex in the most beautiful way, in marriage and with only one person. He’s helping and protecting us by telling us to wait. The world tells us the opposite, but they distort everything good and everything from the Lord. The devil is twisting the beauty of sex and trying to ruin God’s design.
But I want to end with encouraging those who didn’t wait. You are pure again because of Christ if you step into a relationship with Him. You are forgiven and redeemed. If you have experienced rape, you are not any less valued. There is restoration and healing through Christ, and you are a new creation because of Him.
Believe this truth today!! Don’t let the devil hold your past over you because God says you are new again!
